I'm Not a Zombie Anymore – I'm an Investor.

I'm Not a Zombie Anymore – I'm an Investor.

The Turning Point
There was a time when I played along.
Played along in the great game of self-deception.

Money came in – and disappeared right away.
Because something was “a good deal.”
Because “you gotta treat yourself sometimes.”
Because clicking “Pay Later” was just too easy.

I thought I was in control.
But in reality, I was the last to notice I’d been running in a hamster wheel – backwards.

The Wrong Stage
I used to feel proud when I could “afford something.”
New tech, a new game, new shoes.
Installments here, invoices there.
One click – and boom, the dopamine hit.

But what I didn’t see:
I was making others rich – just not myself.

I was the perfect consumer.
Always ready to trade my money for short-term happiness.
And at the end of the month: emptiness.
In my account. In my head. In my soul.

The Emergency Brake
The day I changed my thinking didn’t come with fireworks.
It was a quiet moment.
I sat there, looked at my account – and just knew:
This can’t go on.

I asked myself:

Do I really want to keep living like this?
Or do I want to make my money work for me?

I pulled the emergency brake.

And instead of paying off more stuff, I bought my first stock.
Not for the quick thrill – but for long-term growth.

Today, I’m an Investor.
I don’t buy things that’ll mean nothing to me tomorrow.
I buy shares in companies that’ll matter tomorrow.

I’m not saving for “more stuff.”
I’m saving for freedom.
I don’t want to blend in anymore.
I want to stand out – with calm, with control, with strategy.

Conclusion:
I’m not a follower anymore.
I’m no longer a consumption zombie.
I’m an investor.

And if you’re reading this, maybe it’s because you’re tired, too.
Tired of running but never arriving.
Tired of paying – for things that won’t move you forward.

Then let me tell you this:
There is another way.
There is a better way.

You just need to stop paying for others.
And start investing in yourself.
